Found by another birder (R.A. Hume) late this afternoon, in the field behind All Saints Church at Harbridge, Hampshire, shortly before my arrival. The bird was associating with a flock of 180 mute swan (Cygnus olor).
The local Bewick's swans (Cygnus columbianus), were not found.
